About Quetzal:
Quetzal (Metzalli) is a healer of souls that walks the Curandera path. She is also a Deity medium, painter, dancer, musician, Biologist, and is currently studying Ayurvedic Clinical Foundations at the dhyana Center in Sebastopol, CA; and has previously studied herbalism and curanderismo at Ancestral Apothecary in Oakland, CA. She has been a magical healer all her life, having first learned Mexican folk healing through her great-aunt. Her spiritual roots are in Protestant Christianity, but she has been a Polytheist for over 10 years and is a High Priestess in the Amazon Blood Mothers - a sub group of the Starflower Pagan Congregation in the Bay Area. Currently her spirituality is a blend of Mexhica traditions, Hoodoo, Voodoo, Ifa, Paganism, and Christianity.

Quetzal’s title is “Priestess of the Art of Healing” because her goal is to bring healing to the Universe via all creatieve means possible. She believes the strongest medicine is love, and hopes to always bring that energy everywhere she goes. She knows Love is the fifth dimension and is working to scientifically prove this with complex theorems best described by paintings, dance moves, songs, and messages from worlds unseen.
